Concept:
At the beginning, the concept of Burlesque was considered to be a tribute to the body and a satire on good manners, however, the original sense of this show lost its meaning as time went by. It became a showcase for consumption and objectification of women:
Beauty based on cosmetic accessories [...] that has several disadvantages, as one is transformed into an objectified being, with clear subliminal and erotic connotations
While questioning the current sense of Burlesque, we propose an Anti-Burlesque as a reflective criticism of already established canons of perfection, as well as the products for consumption that society accepts.

Concept:
Following on from the questions of gender,
there arose a reflection about objectification,
and the body as an object of sexual pleasure.
Mass media society is ruled according to sexual
standards. The physical, social and moral condition
of present day human beings has been improved, however,
in our country the power struggle between men and women
is still intense. This action exposes the audience
to the body itself.

Concept:
More and more, humanity is ruled by aesthetic standards and already established definitions of beauty. Western society is full of beauty stereotypes broadcast by the mass media and the consumer society benefits from a want to accept these stereotypes and feel beautiful.
In this performance, a woman's role is taken out of context, showing fashion and the objectification of the body through grotesque and kitsch aesthetics.
